Nathan Wilson is a qualified and registered osteopath with over 6 years of clinical experience and a Master’s in Osteopathic Medicine. He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and is based at Ballina Movement Lab, where he provides osteopathy and exercise rehabilitation for people across Ballina and the Northern Rivers.
After recently working in Canada, Nathan returned to the Northern Rivers where he gained extensive experience treating elite-level athletes at a leading ski resort clinic. This included managing acute sports injuries, persistent pain conditions, and long-term rehabilitation.
Nathan works with people of all backgrounds, with a strong focus on helping those with chronic or recurring pain such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and sports injuries. His goal is to help people move better, reduce pain, and regain confidence in their body so they can return to the activities they enjoy.
He also has a strong interest in strength-based rehabilitation and exercise therapy, helping individuals improve movement quality, build resilience and reduce the risk of future injury.
His approach to treatment combines evidence-based osteopathy with individualised exercise rehabilitation. This may include:
Soft tissue therapy
Joint mobilisation and manipulation
Dry needling
Cupping therapy
Sports taping
Targeted exercise rehabilitation programs
Movement and lifestyle advice
This integrated approach allows treatment to address both the symptoms and underlying causes of pain and movement dysfunction.
Outside the clinic, Nathan maintains an active lifestyle, including surfing, soccer, golf, mountain biking and snowboarding.
